Applications EPzS and EPzB batteries are ideal means of energy storage for all warehousing applications. They are used in materials handling machines, cleaning machines as well as mobile lifting platforms, electric road vehicles and electric/hybrid boats.
Lid The holes in the battery lids are designed to easily allow the installation of electrolyte and can also be used for temperature censor tests.
Aquapro
The Aquapro refill system allows the batteries water levels to be topped up from a central point through a fully integrated system. The Aquapro vent plugs will ensure that fluid levels are evenly topped up throughout the battery to the optimum level whilst also allowing the measurement of electrolyte specific gravity.
Electrolyte Circulation Stratification of electrolyte is one of the main causes of premature battery failure and even a minor level of stratification can reduce the effectiveness of a battery. Our battery circulation system consists of a pipe system fitted within the cells. This allows a constant air flow through the electrolyte which prevents it from stratifying.
Terminals All of our terminals are fully sealed ensuring that not even a single drop of electrolyte can leak from the cells
Cell Connectors Each battery uses a series of bolt on connectors which allow individual cells to be easily replaced. During operation the cells are connected by fully insulated halogen free connectors which are completely flexible to make connection as secure and stress free as possible.
Flip Top Plugs
The batteries plugs are designed with a flip top that display the current level of electrolyte with a series of markings. These also help vent any excess gasses produced during charging or lengthy operation.
Cell Construction Every Platinum cell is fully sealed using a heat-seal weld to prevent any leakage. Inside the battery, each positive electrode is made up of die-cast tubular plates and manufactured using state of the art components to further improve the battery quality. The negative plates are kept apart from the positive plates by using an advanced microporous separator, which gives the battery an all round better performance.
